Stasis: A stop-motion animated short

A woman is revived from a frozen death and reborn inside of a living machine. Stasis is an 8 min. stop-motion animated film created by Jason Hite between 2003- 2005. Animated by Jason, David Lea and Chris Fields in a 1 bedroom apartment. Digital effects by George Longo and Jason King. Music by Mat Martigan and vocals by Claudia Vossanine.

STASIS: A woman in cryogenic storage is brought back to life from an icy grave by a strange organic world of living, breathing machines. 

STASIS was a passion project that began in 2003 and was completed in 2005. Jason wrote the story, created storyboards, sculpted, molded, and cast puppets, built the sets, milled some of the armatures and animated the film with David Lea, and Chris Fields. Scored by Mathiew Marti.
