Bellow is a quick photo gallery illustrating the process to get to to the Bronze piece. The first image below is an in progress sculpture. I started with the Bliss sculpture, once that was complete, molded etc, I went back to the clay and carved it down to Behind The Veil. Yes, I used a casting of a real, female human skull in the center. I have NEVER spent so much time on ONE SCULPTURE. Technically the Behind the Veil Piece fits INSIDE of the bliss piece. Someday I plan to do a Transparent Bliss with the Behind the Veil inside of it.

Me at opening reception at the Copro Gallery back in January of 2014. Unfortunately the piece did not make it on the wall. 45 pounds was just do heavy for them to hang I guess. I had no problem with this at my house. At first they put it on top of a metal trash can. I couldn't handle that and moved it to the floor. So there I am, sitting on the floor with my 1000 + hour, 6K sculpture behind me. Feeling disappointed is an understatement.
